In case you didn't notice, I love an alliterative title - Reading Round-up, Five for Friday, you get the idea. So for no reason other than it starts with the letter 'f', February will showcase some of my favorite things. And because blogging is more fun when it's interactive, maybe you'll share a favorite of yours in the comments.
Today is World Read Aloud Day! Here are some of my all-time favorite titles to share with kids:
A Visitor For Bear by Bonnie Becker
There's a Bird on Your Head by Mo Willems
Wishtree by Katherine Applegate
The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors by Drew Daywalt
The Very Impatient Caterpillar by Ross Burach
All Are Welcome by Alexandra Penfold
The books you read aloud should be your 'best friends' (thank you for that term, Lester Laminack) - titles you're never tired of and ones you find yourself enjoying in new ways, even after the hundredth read.
What's your tried and true favorite to read aloud?
