What I'm Reading Wednesday

Readers!  Somehow it's March 20th and this is only my second post of 2019!  What can I say - things are busy.  But, never so busy that there isn't time to read so although I haven't been blogging, I have been reading.  Here's a look at my shelf:

My girls are obsessed with the Hamilton music right now and asking tons of questions - so that's why the Ron Chernow.  This list is slow going for some reason.  I usually do fine with 4 or 5 titles at once but I may need to focus and finish something before March gets away from me.

Happy Wednesday!  What are you reading?

Reading Round-up: September 2018

Fall is here! Mums, hay bails, and scarecrows are out and pumpkin spice coffee everything lines the shelves.  My favorite thing about October is the weather - there's just something special about sunny, crisp, October days.  But enough weather, on to books...

September's reads will be tough to top -  a few are destined to become all-time favorites. The power in this month's pages comes from two very different women - Eleanor Oliphant and Starr Carter.  If you haven't had the pleasure of 'meeting' these two amazing ladies, I suggest you make it happen soon.

Reading Round-up: August 2018

Well August certainly went by in a flash!  We wrapped up summer with a trip to Maine, fun times with family and neighbors, and back to school for my second grader - complete with 90+ degree days!

Reading Round-up: July 2018

Reading Round-up will be a monthly series that will highlight the books I've read each month.   Sometimes I'll include reviews or ideas for mini-lessons, other months it will just be photos.

Selfishly, I'm also writing these for me - a sort of virtual reading journal.  I'll strive for a varied book 'diet' and to read across genres and for different audiences.
